Analog Kick
Analog Kick
Playing Tips
Play single hits in the lower keyboard range. Adjust LPF Frequency lower (30-35) for a deeper kick, or increase ENV 1 Decay (30-35) for a boomier kick. Reduce Env Amount to 70-80 for less click on the attack. All sound comes from the self-oscillating filter, not the oscillators.

Technique Notes
This kick uses no oscillators at all -- the sound comes entirely from the self-oscillating filter. In 4-pole mode with resonance at 90, the filter generates its own sine wave at the cutoff frequency. The maximum Env Amount (99) sweeps the filter from a high click/punch down to the base frequency (the thump). The extremely short envelopes (Decay 25 and 20) create the percussive character -- drums exist for only milliseconds. Distortion at 10 adds subtle weight.
